VIDEO: Jordon Ibe isn’t the only young Liverpool star pulling off ridiculous skills

This is outrageous from Ryan Kent...

Ben Kenyon

Liverpool’s young players have really stepped it up a gear since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.

The Merseyside club already have one of the youngest teams in the league, and with the German’s reputation for giving youth a platform to shine, they’re obviously busting a gut to catch the former Borussia Dortmund boss’s eye.

It seems that not a match goes by without one of the Reds’ promising youngsters trying some spectacular trick or other.

First there was Joao Carlos Teixeira’s back heel shot which set up Nathaniel Clyne’s goal in Klopp’s first Anfield win against Bournmouth in the Capital One Cup.

Then who could forget this sensational fake-foot nutmeg by Jordon Ibe in the same game? So outrageous it’s silly.

But not to be outdone in the nutmeg stakes, teenager Ryan Kent pulled off this equally spectacular effort to beat his man while out on loan at Coventry City.

But that wasn’t it for the 18-year-old attacking midfielder in Coventry’s 4-3 victory over Barnsley.

He scored this fantastic goal during the game and had a hand in two other….

His performance has meant Klopp has called him back to Liverpool’s Melwood training ground to run the rule over him during the international break.
