Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has deemed Jordon Ibe surplus to requirements at Anfield.
The 20-year-old has agreed personal terms with Bournemouth and the deal is expected to be finalised later this week, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report claims that Ibe said his farewells to his Reds teammates on Tuesday ahead of the €18 million switch to the Cherries.
Backed for huge things, the winger flattered to deceive since Klopp took the reins on Merseyside and his inconsistency is thought to have resulted in the decision to let him go.
After signing from Wycombe as a 16-year-old, Ibe was handed his senior debut by Brendan Rodgers in 2013 and many expected him to slot into the vacancy left by Raheem Sterling following his big-money move to Manchester City last summer but he’s not been able to kick on as Reds fans had hoped.
He joins forces with Eddie Howe’s side who stayed afloat in the Premier League at the first time of asking after being promoted as Championship winners in the 2014/15 season.
