Jordan Henderson sees the future
Some time ago we made a commitment to you, our readers, that we will not rest until we get to the bottom of the important questions that keep you and us awake at night.
Questions like ‘what the hell is going on with Jordan Henderson and his funny little hop?’
It was back in January when our investigative team first spotted the curious case of Jordan Henderson and his hop.
Then we noticed the Hendo Hop made a return as Steven Gerrard slotted home from the penalty spot against Tottenham.
We’ve speculated as to the reason for this almost telepathic ability of Henderson’s to instinctively understand when a goal is about to be scored and mark the moment with a child-like jump.
But now Liverpool’s captain-in-waiting has taken things a hop further by producing his trademark move during Wednesday’s win over Burnley before scoring a goal himself.
In fact he does it before he even knows for certain that the ball is going to come his way.
The hows and whys of the Hendo Hop have yet to be fully explained but they are now truly one of the great unanswered questions of our age.
