Jon Walters earned himself a few more fans with his performance against Liverpool.
The Irish striker had a great first half performance during Stoke City’s Capitol One Cup semi-final second leg away to Liverpool.
Walters was heavily involved in the game’s opener which saw the Potters take the lead on the night and level the match 1-1 on aggregate. He started the counter by hooking the ball over to Bojan, who slid it across to Arnautovic who provided the finish.
His performance in the match had the good people of Twitter singing his praises, with some even wishing their club would snap him up in the January transfer window.
If Met Éireann don't name the next storm "Storm Jon", questions need to be asked
