Hindsight is always 20/20 and it looks like Neymar’s astounding golazo against Villarreal on Sunday was the exact moment when former Man City man Barton was sold on Barcelona superstar.
The always reliable Twitterati dug up a tweet Barton sent in 2013 that suggested Neymar only looked good in YouTube highlights compilations and was actually a poor footballer. The retweets soon flooded in and just like that, a two-year-old tweet started going viral.

The unbelievable claim has come back to bite Barton on the behind as… well, we all know about Neymar’s brilliance at this stage. When he noticed the notifications pile up, he admitted that he was beginning to regret pressing send on that Neymar tweet in 2013.
