Joe Hart has sent a classy message to Manchester City fans after completing his loan move to Torino.
The England No. 1 has signed for the Serie A side for a season after new City boss Pep Guardiola made it clear he was not in his first team plans.
And now Hart, 29, has spoken of his love for the club he has served for a decade, and insisted the club is “moving in the right direction”.
Hart joined the club from Shrewsbury in 2006 and had a number of loan spells before establishing himself as first choice stopper in 2010.
He wrote on his Facebook page:
“It’s been a difficult few weeks but that will never cloud the amazing journey and experience your great club has given to me. From the moment I signed in 2006, the club and its fans have given me football and life experiences I could never have imagined and I am so thankful for that.”
He added:
“The feelings I felt during the recent Steaua Bucharest game will live with me forever. You can’t buy that and I will struggle to replicate them. So thank you for that and all the amazing memories.”
