Jesse Lingard loves having fun
Whether he’s scoring lovely goals, dancing and generally smiling a lot while taking the mick out of Marcus Rashford on Instagram, Jesse Lingard is a young man who just wants to have a good time.
A video which has resurfaced this week gives yet another example of the 25-year-old living his very best life, as well as provoking a slightly different conversation to when it was first uploaded.
The video went viral last year but came to light again after footage emerged at the weekend of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah using his phone while in his car in traffic, at the same time as supporters are attempting to ask for an autograph.
In it Lingard is seen driving around, before deciding to turn up to a neighbourhood, pull up next to some children playing on the street, and proceeded to have a kickabout with said kids.
Its resurgence has prompted comparisons between the reactions by Salah and that of Lingard when approached by supporters, and unsurprisingly fans have had their say about it, with many believing it to be unreasonable for players to be expected to respond to each and every approach by fans.
1/ Jesse Lingard is a professional football who seems to have his head on straight & hasn't forgotten what its like to be those lads.
2/Lingard drove to this estate & got out to play ball with the kids, It took him Half and hour but makes their kids lives.

The thing about that Mo Salah clip that's gets me is we all know Jesse Lingard & Paul Pogba would have stopped their car or wound down the window. The latter get a lot of stick but they're excellent ambassadors for their club.

I like Lingard and think this is class, but the whole Salah thing is madness. Don’t condone him for being on his phone, but he shouldn’t have to get out and acknowledge every person who approaches his car. https://t.co/5J3fe25dz5

He’s isn’t exactly stuck in traffic like Salah. If Lingard was in Salah’s position he wouldn’t just stop and kick a ball about in the middle of traffic fucking hell. https://t.co/E5mhEKAeT9

Not on board with all the vitriol towards Salah but still, this is class from Lingard https://t.co/pxYxdNjlNh
