Jesse Lingard didn’t disappoint a young pitch-invader after Manchester United’s win

Because, y'know, stuff like this is important

Job done for Manchester United.

The first of the weekend’s fourth round FA Cup ties saw them beat Yeovil 4-0 at Huish Park, with goals from Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku.

Alexis Sanchez made his first appearance for United in the game, substituted in the 72nd minute after setting up goals for Rashford and Herrera.

But hey, you knew all this already, didn’t you? That’s not why you’re here.

So, now that I’ve padded out the word count with a few lines about what happened in a game most of the people bothering to read this instead of scrolling straight to the video actually watched, let’s get to the bit mentioned in the headline: Lingard dabbing with a kid.

Shortly after full-time, with the United players gradually making their way off the field, BBC cameras focused on a boy making his way over to Lingard. He wasn’t after his shirt or an autograph or a selfie. Instead, all he wanted was a Dab.

And of course, Lingard duly obliged…

There, done.

United’s next match sees them face Tottenham at Wembley in midweek. After that, they host Huddersfield Town – a game which is likely to be Sanchez’s home debut.
