Jeff Hendrick is on the verge of a big money move to the Premier League

Finally...

Jeff Hendrick is finally getting a move to the Premier League.

The midfielder impressed for the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2016, reportedly catching the interest of numerous clubs.

Burnley made two bids for Hendrick, but Derby County refused both. Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Turkish giants Galatasaray were also linked with a move for him, but the 24-year-old began the season in the Championship.

However, the situation has changed over the past few days, and Hendrick is now reportedly on the verge of a move to Hull City.

Reports on Monday claim that the newly-promoted Premier League club, who have defied the odds to win two of their opening games, despite having just 13 fit senior players, have had a €11.5m bid accepted for Hendrick.

Hull are in the process of being bought by Chinese investment group, and look set to be amongst the busiest Premier League teams in the final days of the transfer window.

The club are understood to have secured Hendrick ahead of Burnley, who re-entered the race to sign him last weekend.

The Dubliner joined Derby from schoolboy side St Kevin’s Boys, and went on to make 214 appearances, scoring 26 times, for the Championship club.
