Transfer window: Live updates.
It could be a busy month for transfers in the Premier League, particularly at the top end of the table where Manchester United are understood to be in the market for a new striker to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have already signed Dutch forward Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven and have been linked with a move for a new midfielder.
Elsewhere, Chelsea look set to continue their spending spree and have been strongly linked with a transfer for Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernández.
The Blues are said to be prepared to pay Benfica £112m for the 21-year-old, a fee that exceeds his buy-out clause, in order to secure the player in January.
Fernández would become the most expensive Premier League player in history if the move goes ahead.
