Leicester City may have salvaged a late point at home to West Ham, but it could have come at a cost.
Jamie Vardy was sent off after picking up a second yellow card for simulation, ruling him out of the home meeting with Swansea.
But now it has emerged that the club’s top scorer could be sidelined for longer, as a result of his response to being shown a red card.
Vardy is alleged to have launched a four-letter outburst at referee Jon Moss, and the Football Association is yet to issue a statement on whether an investigation will be launched into the England striker’s actions.

Leicester are eight points clear of second-placed Tottenham, though the London club can close the gap with victory over Stoke City on Monday night.
Vardy has played in all 34 of Leicester’s Premier League games this season, scoring 22 goals, and fired home the opener against West Ham before being dismissed.
