It was all a little bit tense as the final whistle approached at the King Power Stadium.
With Leicester leading Southampton by Wes Morgan’s first half goal, five minutes stoppage time was signalled by the fourth official, guaranteeing a nervy finish for the majority of those in the stadium.
Jamie Vardy, however, was far from flustered – and decided it was the perfect time to lighten the anxious atmosphere.
Fresh from two goals in two internationals, Vardy chased down Charlie Austin close to the Southampton goal line…
Having nudged the ball out for a Leicester throw, the Southampton player hit the deck…
Seemingly amused by the ease with which his opponent fell to the ground, Vardy produced his own Louis van Gaal- style theatrical dive in front of the referee.
With Vardy staying very much at ease under pressure, those following the game on Twitter reacted the only way they know how.

That Vardy fake dive was hilarious.
