Can you have along distance bromance?
Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville may grace our Monday Night Football screens once again in the future, but you just can’t help feel that the news this week from Spain will create a permanent fracture between the two pundits.
Neville decided that he’d fancy a crack at full time management for at least six months with Valencia while Carragher will be stuck with TV daddy Ed Chamberlain for the next few months at least.
Neville didn’t get a chance to say a proper goodbye to his SKY colleagues, so instead last night tried to pay Carragher about the sweetest compliment you could expect from a man who had his fair few run-ins with the Liverpool defender in his time on the pitch at least.
Long but exciting day that one. Thank you for all your messages. Thank you to @valenciacf for the opportunity .

This is final-thank you to @SkySportsMNF and the team. Special mention to @skysports_ed who is brilliant and @Carra23 who's actually alright

Awh, there may be a tear in our eye.
