Jamie Carragher and Didi Hamann row over Wenger and Mourinho’s non-handshake

Peace be with you.

Jamie Carragher is not a man we’d think would be too concerned about the formalities surrounding a game.

The words ‘no-nonsense’ describe the ex-Liverpool defender pretty well, and we’re hardly surprised that he didn’t think much of today’s non-handshake moment between Arsene Wenger and Jose Mournio at the end of the Community Shield.

The pair have a bit of history, and even accepting that they don’t really like each other it was still a bit odd to see grown men blank each other so visibly.

Carra felt that the whole thing was blown out of proportion

But German Didi Hamann didn’t agree

Didi then tried to put the issue to bed

But Carragher had to put the boot in and drag in one of Liverpool’s worst ever players into the argument

Carragher then tried to end the whole palaver with a tweet aimed to hit Didi where it hurts, his Germanic pride

But in expert show of social media efficiency, the midfielder set the ex-England man straight

It’s not like the former midfielder is too bothered either way if Carragher doesn’t come back with a response judging by where he’s hanging out tonight
