James McClean appeared to be involved in a heated exchange with Everton supporters on Saturday.
The West Brom winger was substituted in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Goodison Park.
According to The Daily Mail, McClean reacted to Everton supporters who directed two-fingered gestures at him as he left the field of play.Baggies’ boss Tony Pulis told the media following the game that he would have have a chat with McClean about the incident, after he had looked at it thoroughly.
“Whether that is true, there are other things going on with the crowd. If James has got involved, I will speak to him.”
Pulis also had a water bottle thrown in his direction, although it missed his feet.
“I have had worse thrown in my direction,” he added, playing the incident down.
