Republic of Ireland and Stoke City winger James McClean has made a touching gesture towards the homeless by offering to pay for six homeless people to stay in the Maldron hotel until Wednesday.

McClean’s sister Mary-Jane posted on Facebook that the Ireland midfielder and his partner Erin were collecting the homeless and bringing them to the hotel where they were going to stay with meals also provided and paid for.
