28 years of age and Celtic fans still clamouring for his signature.
West Brom had a free weekend, James McClean had his birthday on Saturday, so what else would you do really? Kick back and watch the Celts, that’s what.
One of Derry’s finest sons has been enjoying his football of late.
- He’s stormed up the international ranks and has forced himself into a position where he’s one of Ireland’s key players now.
- He’s helped his club to eighth in the Premier League, one place behind Arsenal.
- He’s been watching Celtic rip everyone apart in Scotland.
He couldn’t ask for more, in truth.
Two weeks ago, McClean celebrated his favourite boyhood team’s league success and it only prompted their fans to beg him to join the party.
On Sunday, Brendan Rodgers masterminded another win over Rangers.
Celtic beat their great Glasgow rivals 2-0 in the Scottish Cup semi-final and booked a place in the decider against Edinburgh and one fan was lapping it up, kitted out in the hoops once more.

And as usual, the seduction continued.
At the time of his first post in the Celtic jersey, Tony Pulis responded to a question about it:
“I haven’t got a clue,” the West Brom manager said. “I’ll have a chat with him when he comes in.”
It hasn’t stopped either McClean or the fans from being one.
