The move is imminent.
When the news broke that Jack Wilshere’s contract would not be renewed at Arsenal this summer, it seemed almost certain that he would end up at West Ham. The move allows him to stay in London, play first team football and join a club whose fanbase’s passion matches the blood and thunder that he plays with on the pitch.
West Ham are almost certain to announce the signing of Wilshere in the coming hours or days, after he was spotted outside the London Stadium wearing the famous claret and blue colours of the East end club.

The 26-year-old missed out on going to the World Cup with England this summer, but they have not missed him, as Jordan Henderson, Dele Alli and Jesse Lingard have helped Gareth Southgate’s side reach the last-four of the tournament.
Wilshere will join West Ham after being on Arsenal’s books for 17 years, in what will be a difficult jump to make for him. However, the club suits him down to the ground and he should settle in quickly, assuming he avoids injury.
