Luke Shaw faces a long road to recovery after suffering a horrendous double-leg break in the first half of Manchester United’s clash with PSV in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The England defender was injured in the first half when charging into the box and had to be given oxygen as he was being taken off.
Viewers who saw the incident at home were shocked by the nature of the injury while there was also a huge outpouring of sympathy for the player who had started all of the club’s games so far this season.
