Ireland face Israel on September 27 and October 4, in the Nations League, with the latter game being played behind closed doors, after it was moved from Dublin to the TSC Arena in Serbia, due to fears over protests.
Israel's 'home' game in Debrecen, Hungary, was also meant to be without fans, after the FAI and Israel FA requested this from UEFA.
However, it is now being reported by the Irish Examiner that Israel do not plan on putting any restrictions on fans for their Nations League fixtures.
They released the following statement to the Examiner: “In an internal meeting held last Wednesday in our offices: we decided that our home match against Ireland will be open for spectators."
The FAI, however, have made it clear that they will not be facilitating Ireland fans for either game.
They said: "The Football Association of Ireland confirms that it will not facilitate in-stadium access to Ireland supporters for either of its 2026-27 UEFA Nations League fixtures with Israel.
"The Association appreciates the passion and commitment that Ireland supporters always show when following its teams around the world, but operational challenges and safety and security concerns led to this decision being made.
"The Israel Football Association have confirmed that a small allocation of its own supporters will be accommodated for their home game in Debrecen, Hungary on Sunday, 27 September.
" The second game in Group B3 between the teams will take place in Bačka Topola, Serbia on Sunday, 4 October. This will be played behind closed doors."
