Cliftonville take a bow
Poor Martn Murray. He managed to do this last night for Cliftonville in a League Cup game against Dundela.

And if that wasn’t embarrassing enough his club sent out this tweet to further shame him on social media
Cliftonville 2-1 Dundela (Martin Murray has just scored an own goal from about 30 yards. Needs to be seen to be believed.)

But at least the goal didn’t make too much of a difference as his side managed to hang on for the 2-1 win.
But Cliftonville did apologise to Murray today for shaming him so publically.
And tweeted this instead.
We extend an apology to Martin Murray for accusing him of scoring a 30-yard own goal last night. TV replays indicate it was nearer 40 yards.

Quality work.
We start the slow hand-clap and everyone joins in ok?
