Poor Sean Maguire.
There was so much hype surrounding the fact that Sean Maguire made the provisional squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Yet, he is no more. Cut from the final squad to face Georgia and Serbia.
Instead, Jonathan Walters, Shane Long, Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick get the nod in the forward line.
James McCarthy, Jeff Hendrick, Eunan O’Kane all miss out through injury but the previously mentioned Jonathan Walters as well as David Meyler and Kieren Westwood have also battled through injuries to make the squad.
Here’s the full squad.
