Martin O’Neill has named his team to for Monday night’s friendly.
The Republic of Ireland take on France in Paris, as the hosts begin their preparations for the World Cup next month.
The Stade de France, the scene of Thierry Henry’s handball in 2009, and Wes Hoolahan’s goal against Sweden at Euro 2016, is the venue for what could prove to be a difficult game for O’Neill’s side.
France have one of the most talented squads in world football. An XI of the players Didier Deschamps omitted from their World Cup squad would do well at next month’s tournament, such is the depth of their playing pool.
However, the match is a chance for the new players in the Ireland squad to impress and secure their spot for the Uefa Nations League games against Wales and Denmark in the autumn.
Here’s the Ireland XI for the match, which kicks off at 8pm Irish time.
