The Republic of Ireland may only get to wear their new home kit once at Euro 2016.
Umbro tweeted a link to Ireland sleeve badges, and the colour of the badges caught our eye.

The badge for Ireland’s first game, against Sweden on June 13th in Paris, is on a green jersey. However, for Ireland’s games against Belgium and Italy, the badge is on a white jersey.
Taking into account the worst case scenario for Ireland in this summer’s tournament, and they fail to progress from the group, then it could be the case that they will only wear the home kit once at the Euros.
However, the kit pattern could follow Italia ’90, when Ireland wore green in their first game, white in the second and white in their third, so hopefully the team follows the same path this summer.
It could also mean that there will be a new white, away kit released for the tournament. Which means this grey effort has been relegated to third choice strip.
We’re waiting to hear back from the good folks at Umbro Ireland for confirmation on the kit pattern for Ireland’s Euro 2016 games.
