A morality committee? Imagine they had one of those in the Premier League.
They wouldn’t tolerate this sort of behaviour in Iran anyway. Well, not yellow trousers at least.
Three-times capped goalkeeper Sosha Makani has been suspended for six months for wearing what has been described as Spongebob Squarepants trousers.
The 29-year-old who plays for Persepolis in the Iran Pro League has been charged with “innapropriate conduct” according to the ISNA news agency.

Before a game, Makani was pictured donning the adventurous leg-wear and was cited for it by the football federation’s morality committee.
The country has strict clothing laws and, although the player has a right to appeal, they are clamping down hard on his outlandish style.
“SpongeBob [trousers] cause six-month suspension for Sosha,” read Astrian news outlet.
Where’s the line?
