An intruder was spotted parachuting into Tottenham’s new stadium on Thursday night.

Viewers of the live feed inside the ground spotted the man jump from the roof of the newly constructed building before parachuting down, landing on a sand-covered area of the pitch.

Tottenham Hotspur have launched an investigation into the incident to find out just how this intruder managed to breach security and find his way to the rooftop.

We are aware of an incident that took place last night that involved a breach in construction security and this is being investigated by Mace, our stadium construction partners,” a club spokesman said.

Tottenham are scheduled to play their first four games of next season away from home, with their first home game at the newly built stadium set to take place on September 15th, when Spurs welcome Liverpool to their new home.
