Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi fires long-term agent, hires model wife instead

10 years of service out the window

This mental story coming out of the Serie A sounds like something out of Dream Team.

Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi has sacked his agent of 10 years, and replaced him with his wife Wanda Nara.

Moreno told Argentine news outlets that his contract with the 22-year-old striker has not been renewed after working with him for over a decade.

The agent explained that he is “hurt” by Icardi’s decision to fire him, during an interview with Radio Uno. He also dropped the bombshell that his replacement will be Icardi’s wife and former model Wanda Nara during the interview.

Nara was previously married to striker Maxi Lopez, who was a teammate of Icardi at the time. Icardi was friends with the couple, although it transpired that he was a lot friendlier with Nara as she ended up leaving Lopez to start a new life with Icardi.
