Patched up team.
Manchester United have the chance to bounce back from their mid-week exit in the Champions League when they travel to face Bournemouth.
However, Louis van Gaal’s side face a tough game against the Premier League newboys, who have moved out of the relegation zone following a victory over Chelsea last week.
The Cherries also rescued a draw against Everton in their previous home game and, despite suffering injuries to key players this season, are arguably playing United at the best time possible.
Van Gaal has nine first team players injured, including Chris Smalling, who’s been a rock at the back for United, and has been forced to name a makeshift defence for today’s trip.
Paddy McNair and Daley Blind start in central defence, while Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Guillermo Varela are at full-back.
Michael Carrick skippers the side in Wayne’s Rooney’s absence.

Meanwhile, Ireland international Harry Arter retains his place for Bouremouth after an impressive performance against Chelsea last week.
