Ian Holloway tears English FA to shreds in immaculate rant

Jesus, tell us how you really feel

SportsJOE

If there’s one thing to be thankful for this year it’s that Ian Holloway exists and he’s still speaking his mind.

You’ll probably remember Holloway from his spells in the Premier League with Blackpool and Crystal Palace, but he has since returned to take the helm of Queens Park Rangers and he’s still as entertaining as ever.

His first press conference as new boss this time around did not disappoint as he went full throttle into an epic rant, taking aim at the FA for their treatment of Gareth Southgate while he also criticising their decision to sack Sam Allardyce over “newspaper scam”.

“Would I have got rid of Sam on a newspaper scam? Probably not.”

“Sam could have made Gareth even better, because he could have taught him. For me, it’s a bit of an embarrassment. The best managers I have felt, in that job, have been hounded out.”

“What are we doing? What are we doing to our own game?”

Check out his immaculate rant in full below.
