Robbie’s doing well for himself over in the States.
The MLS have released their yearly salary figures and it makes for some interesting reading.
Robbie Keane will make $4.5m this season but Kaka is still the highest earning player in the league, taking hom $7,167,500m with Orlando City while former Juve playmaker Sebastian Giovinco, now of Toronto, is narrowly behind him in second with $7,115,555m
Steven Gerarrd ain’t doing too badly either. The Liverpool legend is pocketing $6,332,504 while Frank Lampard will be taking home a cool $6m.
Andrea Pirlo’s wages are surprisingly low, relative to some of the aforementioned stars. The Italian playmaker is earning slightly above $2m but that’s almost $5.1m less than Kaka.
Meanwhile, Kevin Doyle and Sean St. Ledger willearn $1,170,000 and $147,492 a year respectively.
