Stevie G is the talk of LA at the moment.
The Liverpool legend is joining MLS franchise Los Angeles Glaxy in the summer and a real A-Lister has already offered him some “practical” advice.
Chris Pratt, the star of box office smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, was asked if he had any words of wisdom for Steven Gerrard in a recent interview with Match of the Day Magazine.
The 35-year-old offered to buy him a drink to help him settle in his new home and cracked wise over the infamous British climate.
“I tell you what, Steven, if you’re coming to LA, once you get there you’re going to see a ball of fire in the sky. Do not be alarmed. It’s called the sun.”
“It’s not going to kill you. It’s just going to mean great weather all the time. Enjoy yourself, buddy. Look me up when you get there and I’ll buy you a drink.”
Pratt also suggested that he “buy some block,” which remarkably didn’t cause him to burst into a rendition of Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by Bazluhrmann.
