Gary Neville is getting it from all angles.
The former Manchester United defender is having the proverbial nightmare at Valencia as the ex-full-back struggles badly with the La Liga side.
It’s just a week since his side were spanked by Barcelona 7-0, and they lost 1-0 to Real Betis at the weekend to further darken the mood at the club.
The former TV pundit says he will not quit despite the increasing pressure and pictures of very very angry fans hurling abuse at him after the weekend’s result.
He’s gotten some abuse from Valencia legends such as Santiago Canizares, but now an ex-Argentina striker has added to the England coach’s woes as he says he’s delighted that Neville is struggling so badly.
Hernan Crespo would have enjoyed some battles with Neville at club and country, but speaking to Fox Sports, the ex Chelsea man is getting a sick kick out of seeing the ex-defender struggle so badly.
“To watch a game on the TV, it’s much different than from the bench. I’m almost happy for Gary Neville’s troubles at Valencia. I remember he was too harsh as a TV pundit.”
That’s just plain mean isn’t it.
