That didn’t take long at all.
Paul Pogba has been a Manchester United player for less than 48 hours (well, if you ignore his first spell at Old Trafford) but we’ve already got a first glimpse of his virtual form on Fifa 17.
The midfielder was finally announced on Tuesday morning after a transfer saga which dragged out for a very long time, but United were much quicker when it came to the computerised Frenchman.
It probably helps that EA Sports is the club’s new official football video gaming partner, providing an easy excuse to show off Pogba in a Red Devils shirt, but we’ll applaud them for it all the same.

United have provided a gallery of the in-game versions of a number of other first-teamers, including Jesse Lingard, Wayne Rooney and Memphis, while EA Sports has revealed fans will be able to download custom Fifa 17 covers (among other things) from the Man United website.
Another of the club’s key men, Anthony Martial, was in contention to be the cover star for Fifa 17 but ultimately lost out to Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.
Fans have been quick to share their thoughts, not just on the Pogba representation but also on the addition of yet another official partner for the club.

With personalised celebrations a notable feature of the game for some time, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Pogba and Lingard battling it out to be king of the dab on the upcoming issue, which will get its UK release on September 29.
