Police were called to Maguire’s home on Thursday
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was forced to vacate his home after Cheshire Police were called to his house over a bomb threat.
Police are currently searching the defender’s property in Alderley Edge after Maguire received an email from an anonymous source claiming that a bomb had been planted at his home.

The 29-year-old is reportedly in a ‘state of shock’ according to The Sun and police are currently taking the matter extremely seriously.
Sniffer dogs and officers were sent to his home to investigate, where the England international lives with his fiancé Fern Hawkins and their two daughters.
Cheshire Police also released a further statement on the incident, confirming that no evacuation had taken place. They said: “No evacuation has taken place but as a precautionary measure, a police explosive’s dog has attended the address this afternoon (Thursday April 21) to conduct a search of the gardens and surrounding area.”
