Adrian Chiles steps out, Roy Keane steps in

Great news today for fans of no nonsense analysis of football and scowls at the presenter. When ITV resume their Champions League coverage the week after next Adrian Chiles will be gone, but Roy Keane will be back.

The Mail today report the line up for new man Mark Pougatch’s first game and the Ireland assistant manager, along with old team-mate Paul Scholes, will do the honours for PSG v Chelsea.

Keane left the gig just before the World Cup in Brazil, citing work commitments but with the Aston Villa job behind him, he looks like he has time for TV again.

It is only on a game-by-game basis for now, according to the report, but it is still great news for armchair fans.
