Guus Hiddink is expected to be unveiled as the new Chelsea interim manager this afternoon.

The Dutchman, who previously had a spell at the club when he won the FA Cup, is likely to take over until the end of the season.
Hiddink, who is one of the most highly regarded coaches in the world, is understood to be demanding funds to bolster the Chelsea squad in their current battle to climb away from the relegation zone.

According to the Daily Star, Leicester’s Jamie Vardy tops the list of players coveted by the Dutchman to kick start the Premier League champions season.

The England hitman would cost an estimated £30million with Leicester unlikely to be happy to part with the man key to their rise to the top of the table this term and his 15 goals so far this season.

It is also reported the club are interested in West Brom striker Saido Berahino unless Hiddink sees an immediate improvement in Diego Costa and the permanently injured and unfit Radamel Falcao.

It;s belived that Mourinho was not interested in signing Vardy as the player did not suit his team’s style but now that he has departed, Hiddink is keen to add the 28-year to his squad.
