The Scot was taken to hospital two weeks ago and underwent a minor heart procedure but the Liverpool legend, who has become known for his straight-talking analysis of the game, will be back in studio for a game United simply must win to be certain of reaching the knockout stages in Europe.
The former Rangers manager will be joined by a boss from the other side of the Old Firm divide in Neil Lennon.
