"If he wants to become a star, someone who can run games, and people talk about his like he is a proper player, I think he's got to show consistency, he's got to show leadership and I think he's got to change his attitude to football," Souness said.
"I bet he's a really nice man but I think he treats football like a bit of a joke," he added.
"I wonder if he trains properly every day, that's a bit of a stab in the dark at one of the things that could improve, but I don't see him having improved at all since the day he arrived [back at United]."

Souness makes a fair point regarding Pogba's lack of improvement since he rejoined United, but questioning the player's commitment to training, having not watched him training, reeks of an agenda against the player.
