400 more tickets per match.
Good news for Republic of Ireland fans as 400 more tickets per game, 1,200 in total, for the country’s Euro 2016 games have been made available, according to RTÉ.
There were over 270,000 ticket applications from Ireland for games at the tournament, with tickets for Ireland’s opening game against Sweden on June 13th in Paris one of the most in-demand for the tournament.
Meanwhile, John Delaney has said he hopes Ireland’s Euro 2016 campaign will, somehow, honour the centenary of the Easter Rising and create new sporting heroes.“I think that it’s great that 100 years since 1916, that we’ll hopefully have new sporting heroes 100 years later in France and hopefully the Irish team can do the country proud,” said the FAI CEO.
