Porto defender Danilo lasted less than a quarter of the game against Basel tonight.
The Brazilian left the pitch on a stretcher after a concussive collision with his own goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old’s head bounced off the surface after initially being floored with a thumping shoulder from Fabiano.
Fortunately Danilo regained consciousness but remains at St. Johns hospital where he is being monitored.
