Germany’s preparations for their prestige friendly against France were disrupted after they were forced to flee their team hotel on Friday morning.
With the German team staying in Parisian hotel, the Molitor, the police received an anonymous bomb threat which saw the building evacuated and cordoned off.
Premier League stars such as Liverpool’s Emre Can, Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil are thought to have been with the group as they left the hotel.
Fortunately, it appears that the threat was a hoax. The German squad are expected to return to the hotel to collect their belongings.
