You can probably find Ché Neville raising a glass at his swanky Manchester hotel right about now.
Today, April 28, 2015, marks the 25th anniversary of Liverpool’s last league triumph.
The Reds, managed by Kenny Dalglish, beat QPR 2-1 at Anfield, back in 1990, to clinch their 18th league title.
Oliver Kay of The Times put out a tweet, this morning, recognising the date and remarking that no-one in their right mind would have predicted that number 19 would be a long, long time coming.
Quick as a whip, former Manchester United defender Gary Neville replied , and asked if anyone else was clearing their calendar to celebrate the occasion.
