He doesn’t help himself, sometimes
Paul Pogba has a knack for attracting attention from all angles. Whether it’s due to him scoring a screamer, playing terribly, or unveiling a new hairstyle, the focus is always on him.
You’d expect nothing less given his price tag and the expectations set upon him, but you would think he would do his best not to draw attention to himself during his spells of bad form. You only have to look at his new haircut to see that he doesn’t care about that.
He was spotted entering the Etihad stadium today sporting a blue streak through his hair, just before the Manchester derby.I don’t think it’s too much to say that it’s inadvisable to dye your hair the colour of your opponents’ kit before a local derby, but there is a valid reason.
Pogba still has blue in his hair 😡😡😡 pic.twitter.com/Y64s7VeUcQ

Of course, Pogba plays for France, who play in blue. The dyed streak has been in his hair since the international break and was seen when United played Swansea last weekend, but that won’t stop the conspiracy theorists claiming its a come and get me plea to Pep Guardiola.
Gary Neville says Paul Pogba 'doesn't help himself' over his blue hair colour. It's an open goal after Guardiola's comments but he dyed it ahead of France duty and if Pogba had changed it to red last night it'd have been 'He spends too much time on his hair'. #mufc

Gary Neville criticised Pogba’s new look on Sky Sports:
“The problem with Pogba is he doesn’t help himself,” said Neville in a brief preview of the game for Sky Sports.
“I always think if you’re wise you don’t attract attention when things aren’t going your way but Pogba doesn’t work like that. He’s got a big job to do, he’s got to be serious about football.
“Coming out here with blue hair today, win and it’s fine, lose and it will be talked about forever more by City and United fans. It’s ridiculous.”
