Leicester City, just in case you were under a rock for all of last season, will be playing Champions League football in 2016/17.
Having pulled off their miraculous Premier League success, the Foxes were also given a spot in pot one for Thursday’s group stage draw – meaning they wouldn’t be facing the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus this side of Christmas.
That’s not to say they had a completely smooth ride, however. The likes of Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid were both potential opponents for Claudio Ranieri’s men.
Fortunately for them, things didn’t pan out too badly at all.
FC Porto perhaps represent the stiffest challenge in Group G, although Leicester will fancy their chances against a Portuguese side that have undoubtedly fielded stronger sides in recent years. Belgium’s Club Brugge and Copenhagen of Denmark complete a group that Leicester will have a very good chance of progressing from.
Gary Lineker was keeping a keen eye on his former club’s fortunes in the draw, and probably spoke for all Leicester fans after learning who they would face.
Cracking draw for Leicester.

Not sure you could pick a better draw for @LCFC

Things aren’t quite so straightforward for Manchester City and Celtic. The pair will face each other in Group C, a group that also contains Pep Guardiola’s former club Barcelona and German club Borussia Monchengladbach.
Tottenham will face Russian champions CSKA Moscow, AS Monaco and Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen while Arsenal have Paris Saint-Germain, FC Basel of Switzerland and Bulgarian club, Ludogoretes.
