We like Gary Lineker
He’s funny on Twitter, he doesn’t take himself too seriously and when he sits down to talk about football, it’s worth paying attention.
What more can you want?
But if you ever look at his Twitter mentions column, or the replies each and every time he tweets, you’ll see that he puts up a lot, an awful lot, and 99.99% of it concerns the unfortunate time he was caught short on the pitch during the 1990 World Cup group game against Ireland.
Over the weekend at Glastonbury, someone decided to a) make, b) wave and c) get on TV a flag accusing Gary of engaging in a physical act with one or more consenting crisps.
Unsurprisingly, Gary took it in good nature.
Beats shat on crisps. https://t.co/0iitsoGM2c
