Gareth Bale receives another metaphorical kick to the family jewels from Real Madrid fans

It’s fair to say that the Welsh man isn’t well-liked at the Bernabeu.

After a positive start to his Real Madrid tenure, it looks like Gareth Bale has found himself firmly out of favour with the team’s faithful. The former Spurs man is now regularly getting booed by his own club’s supporters and can’t seem to put a foot right in their eyes.

Madrid newspaper Marca did a recent poll asking readers which players would make their ideal starting XI. The results are in and it won’t make for very pleasant reading for Bale.

The fans opted for an attacking trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco and James Rodriguez supporting target man Karim Benzema, with Bale being left out completely.

Well if Madrid don’t want him, he’s been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United all summer.

With that in mind, don’t be surprised if you see Bale in a Chelsea or Man City shirt sometime soon.
