Eight touches. Two of them from the kick off.
Frank Lampard and Jamie Carragher couldn’t help but laugh at how hapless Aston Villa were in the first half against Spurs and it was never clearer with the virtually non-existent performance of Gabby Agbonlahor.
In front of new boss Remi Garde sitting in the White Hart Lane stands, the club captain accrued six whole touches in over 45 minutes of football after the centre. And he was playing as the front man.
You don’t need to hear any more to know that Villa weren’t in the game whatsoever. They did pull one back in the second period but still lost out 3-1 in the end.
And three simple pictures sum up Agbonlahor’s night perfectly.
Gabby vows there will be no more messing around.
