Fulham manager Slaviša Jokanović must be sick of the sight of Alex Smithies.
The West London club have taken three penalties against the QPR goalkeeper so far this season, and they are still yet to find the net from the spot.
Back in October, Smithies saved from Tom Cairney and saw Sone Aluko hit the post from 12 yards as the Rs secured a rare away victory.
And in the reverse fixture, this afternoon, the former England youth keeper kept out another Fulham penalty, denying Chris Martin.

Galway native Ryan Manning put Ian Holloway’s team ahead not long afterwards, showing just how important the stop could prove to be yet again.
Smithies has form for this sort of thing. And not just at QPR.
He also developed quite the knack for saving penalties during his time at Huddersfield Town, and his reported career record is quite something.
Alex Smithies saves a penalty for QPR. Think that takes him up to a 50% career record: Saved 19, conceded 19.
