France have the most valuable squad at this year’s FIFA World Cup with a combined value of £967 million.
Headlined by Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann France rank £30 million ahead of second placed Spain with Brazil ranking in third at £855 million.
The World Cup favourites are propped up by Neymar’s £200 million move from Barcelona to PSG last summer while England rank fourth at £786million.
Panama have the lowest valued squad at just £8.4million, just under half the value of Saudi Arabia’s squad at £16.83million, which ranks as the second least valuable squad at this year’s tournament.
Peter Watton at OddsMonkey, who conducted the research, said of the findings:
“The value of the teams and players at the World Cup is always fascinating, and 2018 is no different and we have come across a few shocks – none more so then England, who actually have one of the highest value squads at the finals.”
