84 appearances for Liverpool, 100 appearances for Juventus and 35 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain.
But all Tony Pulis will want to know about Momo Sissoko is whether or not he can head a ball.
The latest chapter in the career of the Malian midfielder looks set to play out at The Hawthorns as Sissoko ups his attempts to win a contract at West Brom.
Sissoko, one of Rafael Benitez’s first signings after guiding the Reds to the Champions League in 2005, has been training with the Baggies recently after being released by Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
The defensive midfielder featured for West Brom in a friendly against the Delhi Dynamos at the weekend, which the Premier League side claimed 1-0.
“I feel good. I was really happy to play for 60 minutes at The Hawthorns and I am confident I can do well here,” Sissoko told Sky Sports News.
“It’s been a long time since I left England. I’ll be here with West Brom this week and we’ll see what happens after that.
“The manager has told me just to come and enjoy it and then we’ll sit down and talk about my future. But I’m really happy to be back with a club in one of the best leagues in the world and I hope I can stay here.”
He joins Marouane Chamakh on trial under the watchful eyes of Pulis, who we assume would be jumping at the chance to add another 12 ft 4 in to his West Brom side.
